Regular Drywall
Regular drywall is usually white on a side and brown on the other side. It is the most pocket-friendly drywall type. It comes in varying sizes ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch. It is the most common and is usually available in 4 x 8 panels.
Green Board Drywall
This drywall type is also known as a moisture-resistant kind of drywall. It has a greenish covering which is responsible for its water-resistant property. It has an advantage over regular drywall. Paperless Drywall
Paperless drywall is now used to replace paper drywalls. It is covered with fiberglass, not paper. This protects the gypsum board from rot and provides great resistance to mold and mildew. It is tougher than the regular drywall. It has a slight texture will require the application of a joint compound to maintain a clean drywall level.
